Our “About” is just another cliché ad-world journey full of experience, awards and ego, so we’ll tell you something better.

The awards and ego will come too, we’re not stupid. But we’ll save that for the end.

So, here’s the story of the first time we dragged our broke intern asses to London.

We were just starting out in our careers and about to spend 3 months as interns at McCann London. Since we had a friend, Rodri, already living there, we gave him the highly important task of finding us a flat. And he found one fast. Very fast. Suspiciously fast.

He liked the first apartment he visited. And when we arrived... well, we don’t want to judge something as subjective as our friend’s taste, so let’s stick to objective facts: tampons and food containers all over the floor, a shower that wouldn’t drain a single drop of water, and a table for two placed between the kitchen and the hallway. Which, to be fair, is a bit hard to picture. It was a narrow table placed in the kitchen doorway in such a way that one person had dinner in the kitchen while the other ate in the hallway.

Anyway. Those 3 months, spent bailing water out of the shower and taking turns deciding who got to eat in the kitchen or the hallway, we were fucking happy.

Why? Because we had a challenge: leave McCann having sold one idea to one of the agency’s clients.

And this isn’t a story about saying we made it.
It’s here to tell you what has always driven us: a genuinely exciting challenge.

It doesn’t matter what stage of our career we’re in. From being interns at McCann London, to spending almost 6 years at Lola MullenLowe and helping turn it, alongside a ridiculously talented team, into the 9th best agency in the world according to Cannes Lions. Or working at Grey creating a Coca-Cola’s Christmas miniseries on Amazon Prime or the first global beer campaign for the Olympic Games for Corona. Or now, back at McCann, working on projects as exciting as IKEA’s first global campaign or launching Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra music video with Mastercard at the Grammys.

If there’s one thing that has always moved us, it’s challenges. And they don’t need to be massive briefs with even bigger budgets. What makes us happy is doing great work. Regardless of budget, client limitations, or all the annoying noise every project comes with. That, and surrounding ourselves with people way better than us.
